Jefferson Forest and Glass squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Jefferson Forest had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hilltoppers, falling 3-0. The Cavaliers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-21.

Glass found their leader in freshman Mary McCloskey, who had six digs and four aces.

Jefferson Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Glass, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
