Softball Recap: Richland Springs Takes a Loss

Richland Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Menard Yellowjackets.

Richland Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Menard, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Coming up, Richland Springs and Miles will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Menard, they will welcome Medina at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Menard's pitchers better be ready for this one: Medina has averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season.
