Baseball Recap: Soledad Aztecs vs. Carmel Padres

Vidal Perez put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Soledad's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 6-14 when he doesn't).
