Football Recap: Morehead Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Morehead came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Reidsville Rams and fell 55-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 52-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Braxton Johnson had a dynamite game For Reidsville., throwing for 175 yards and five TDs on perfect 8-for-8 passing. The dominant performance also gave Johnson a new career-high in passer rating (177.1). Kendre Harrison was in the mix too, providing Reidsville with two scores.

Morehead's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Reidsville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.
