Volleyball Game Preview: Westminster Academy Lions vs. Parkridge Christian Panthers

The Westminster Academy Lions will face off against the Parkridge Christian Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westminster Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Parkridge Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

Westminster Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Sunset on Saturday. The Lions came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Parkridge Christian lost 3-0 to Sports Leadership & Management on Friday.

Parkridge Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Sports Leadership & Management work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-18, 25-20.

Westminster Academy will need to focus on slowing down Chance Reed, one of several Parkridge Christian players who made an impact when they last played. She had 17 digs and one block. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliyah Cooper, who had ten digs and two blocks.

Parkridge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Westminster Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.
