Andy Saeva leads a balanced attack to beat Eastmark

Recap: Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions vs. Eastmark Firebirds
The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions entered their tilt with the Eastmark Firebirds with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Mountain Ridge walked away with a 76-64 victory over Eastmark on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mountain Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andy Saeva, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. The matchup was Saeva's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dallin Smith, who scored 18 points.
Mountain Ridge's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Eastmark, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
Mountain Ridge and Deer Valley will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The timing is sure in Deer Valley's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Mountain Ridge has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Eastmark will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Combs at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
