The Edisto Cougars's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They skirted past Swansea 25-22. That's another feather in the cap for Edisto, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Edisto got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ashante Johnson out in front who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was De'myah Simmons, who scored seven points.
Edisto's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Swansea, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Edisto will be playing in front of their home fans against Barnwell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Swansea won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Pelion at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th. Pelion is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
