Softball Preview: Elmira Falcons vs. Sisters Outlaws
Elmira is 9-1 against Sisters since May of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Elmira Falcons will head out on the road to take on the Sisters Outlaws at 4:30 p.m. Elmira will be strutting in after a win while Sisters will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Elmira made easy work of Siuslaw and carried off a 12-6 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Elmira.
Meanwhile, Sisters is still winless after their match against La Pine on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 14-12. One positive for Sisters, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Elmira's win bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Sisters, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
Everything went Elmira's way against Sisters in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 as Elmira made off with an 18-7 victory. Will Elmira repeat their success, or does Sisters have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
