Soccer Recap: Upper Columbia Academy Comes Up Short

Upper Columbia Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Newport Grizzlies, falling 4-1. Upper Columbia Academy were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Newport earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Upper Columbia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Newport, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-4-2.

Upper Columbia Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Northwest Christian School on the 14th. As for Newport, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 11-0 loss against Freeman on the 14th.
