Softball Recap: Cisne Takes a Loss

Cisne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-0 to the Farina South Central Cougars. If the Runnin' Lions were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to the Cougars when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cisne's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Farina South Central, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cisne will take on Grayville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cisne's pitchers better be ready for this one: Grayville has averaged an impressive 14.8 runs per game this season. As for Farina South Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against Casey-Westfield at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
