Preview: Miami Stingarees vs. Norland Vikings
Miami is 0-5 against Norland since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Miami Stingarees will head out on the road to face off against the Norland Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Monday, Miami was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-48 to Northwestern. Miami has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Norland kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 74-63 to Sports Leadership & Management. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Marcus Allen put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on 22 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Triston Wilson, who scored 20 points.
Miami's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Norland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
