Volleyball Recap: Cheyenne Desert Shields vs. Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights
Cheyenne posted their biggest victory since August 22nd on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights as the Cheyenne Desert Shields made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Desert Shields as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
After all that action, the final score was 25-17, 25-21, 25-19.
Cheyenne's win bumped their record up to 6-12-1. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
After both having extra time off, Cheyenne and Clark will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Moapa Valley at 6:00 p.m. on September 24th.
