Soccer Recap: Winters Victorious

Winters proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by six) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the River Valley Falcons, sneaking past 2-1.

AJ Zaragoza and Chase Gibson scored both of Winters' goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Winters' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for River Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winters will host Wheatland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River Valley, they will welcome Rio Linda at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
