Mahpiya Luta put another one in the bag  on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the St. Francis Indian Warriors 82-30. Given the Crusaders' advantage  in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings  (they are ranked eighth, while the Warriors are ranked 102nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Mahpiya Luta was led to victory by  Ashlan Carlow-Blount and  Jodene Big Crow-Hunter.  Carlow-Blount  went 8-for-19  en route to 20 points along with eight  boards and six  steals, while  Big Crow-Hunter  went 8-for-14  to rack up 21  points and six  steals. Carlow-Blount's evening made it three games in a row in which  she has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was  Mya Mills, who  posted 13  points.
Mahpiya Luta pushed their record up to 20-0 with the  win, which was their 18th straight  at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.1 points over those games. As for St. Francis Indian,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 10-10.
