On Wednesday Ruben Balderas tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. The performance marked the fewest hits Balderas has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one earned run. This year, he has an ERA of 4.57 over 23 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Balderas and Collins Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Roswell at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
