Basketball Game Preview: Alhambra Lions vs. Central Bobcats

Alhambra and Central are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Alhambra Lions just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Central Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Alhambra's offense hasn't had much luck over their past three games, but Friday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Thursday, Alhambra had to suffer through a 72-12 loss at the hands of Fairfax.

Meanwhile, Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 76-12 loss at the hands of North. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-7.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Alhambra, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Alhambra came up short against Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 40-35. Can Alhambra avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
