Basketball Game Preview: Hudson Hornets vs. Palestine Wildcats

Hudson is on a three-game streak of home losses, Palestine a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Hudson Hornets will welcome the Palestine Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Hudson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Hudson turned things around against China Spring on Friday. They breezed by the Cougars to the tune of 61-34. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-11.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Palestine took on Livingston on Friday. Palestine narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Livingston 61-58.

Palestine now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Hudson, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-13.

Hudson came out on top in a nail-biter against Palestine when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 49-46. Does Hudson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Palestine turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
