Recap: Los Angeles Romans vs. Santee Falcons
In what's become a running theme this season, the Los Angeles Romans gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 64-44 margin over Santee. The victory was just what Los Angeles needed coming off of a 75-41 loss in their prior matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Santee lost, one person who can't be blamed is Emiliano Chavez. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Chavez scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Israel Snowden, who scored eight points.
Los Angeles is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Santee, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Los Angeles will head out on the road to challenge Diego Rivera at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Diego Rivera is on a five-game streak of home wins, Los Angeles a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Santee will take on Dr. Maya Angelou Community at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
