Wilson came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 58-53 W over the Nimitz Cougars.

Nimitz's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malachai Augustus, who posted 13 points. The dominant performance gave Augustus a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Eliyahs Hood, who earned 11 points.

Wilson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Nimitz, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
