Rock Falls had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the North Boone Vikings by a score of 8-4 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Rockets: when they faced off against the Vikings on Thursday, they had to take a 6-5 loss.

Rock Falls' win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Austin Castaneda, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another was Owen Laws, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Rock Falls' victory bumped their record up to 11-15-1. As for North Boone, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 25-5 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Falls will challenge Fulton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Boone, they will face off against Byron at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
