Basketball Game Preview: West Burlington Falcons vs. Danville Bears

The West Burlington Falcons will face off against the Danville Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Burlington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Danville likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, West Burlington didn't have quite enough to beat Keokuk and fell 70-67. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (60), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Danville won against B-G-M on Saturday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Danville enjoyed a cozy 57-43 win over B-G-M. That's two games straight that Danville has won by exactly 14 points.

West Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Danville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Everything came up roses for West Burlington against Danville when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 59-23 win. Will West Burlington repeat their success, or does Danville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
