Softball Recap: Countryside Comes Up Short at Home Against Osceola

Countryside unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Osceola Warriors on Tuesday, falling 11-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Countryside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elizabeth Frizzle, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. What's more, Frizzle posted two hits, the most she's had since back in February of 2024.

Countryside didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 25-11 loss against Mount Dora Christian Academy on the 21st. As for Osceola, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-1 win against Pinellas Park on the 20th.
