The Pen Argyl Green Knights lost against the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Pen Argyl's tough 45-24 loss to Northwestern Lehigh might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pen Argyl in their matchups with Northwestern Lehigh: they've now lost six in a row.
Pen Argyl's loss came despite strong showings from Chase Kennedy and Mason Soos. Kennedy scored eight points, while Soos scored four points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him.
Pen Argyl's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
Pen Argyl will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Salisbury Township at 6:45 p.m. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they will head out on the road to face off against Bangor at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Bangor will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
