After a string of seven wins, Indian Trail's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Racine Park Panthers. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Racine Park's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Betker led the charge by going 5 for 11 en route to 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Betker is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Myasia Bostick, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 boards.

Indian Trail's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5. As for Racine Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian Trail will head out to challenge Oak Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Creek will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Indian Trail surely won't give up without a fight. Racine Park has already played their next matchup (against Racine Horlick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
