Basketball Recap: Brooks Gets the Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Brooks challenged Franklin-Simpson on Saturday. The Brooks Lions came out on top against the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats by a score of 44-37.

The win got Brooks back to even at 7-7. As for Franklin-Simpson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brooks will be home for the holidays to greet Rogers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin-Simpson, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Bardstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
