Aj Mcbean Turns in Season-Best Effort
Mira Costa was led to victory by Aj Mcbean, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Journee Tonga's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his seventh-straight game with 101+ rushing yards. He rushed for 279 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
For the season, Tonga has averaged 39.1 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 36 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 203 rushing yards.
