Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North barely beat Vela the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Sabercats on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Vela, they dropped their record down to 7-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North and Vela will both be playing McAllen Memorial the next time they take the field. The Sabercats will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Raiders will host them at 6:30 p.m. on the 11th.
