Make it eight blowout wins for the Humboldt Cubs this season. They took their contest on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 70-16 win over Yates Center. That looming 70-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Humboldt yet this season.

It was another big night for Sam Hull, who scored 23 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Avery Works, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Humboldt's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Yates Center, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Humboldt will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Erie at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
