Soccer Recap: Calverton Comes Up Short

Calverton's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Rockbridge Academy Scots by a score of 2-1. Calverton was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Rockbridge Academy earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Calverton's goal came courtesy of Vanessa Mealy, which was the first she's scored this season.

Calverton's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Rockbridge Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Calverton will face off against Cristo Rey Jesuit at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rockbridge Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
