Basketball Preview: Red Hill Salukis vs. Lawrenceville Indians

Red Hill is 1-9 against the Indians since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Red Hill Salukis will look to defend their home court against the Lawrenceville Indians at 7:30 p.m. Red Hill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 524th, while the Indians are ranked 88th).

Last Saturday, Red Hill was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-54 to the Bluestreaks.

Meanwhile, Lawrenceville had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They took down Altamont 58-40.

Red Hill has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Lawrenceville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.
