While Botkins's victory against National Trail wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Blazers 4-2. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kambree Walters was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Emma Roberts also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Botkins' win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for National Trail, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

Botkins didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 defeat against Russia on the 11th. As for National Trail, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-1 loss against Ansonia on the 11th.
