Bell's win ends four-game losing streak on the road

Recap: Bell Blue Raiders vs. Fossil Ridge Panthers
Even though the Fossil Ridge Panthers scored an imposing 61 points on Tuesday, the Bell Blue Raiders still came out on top. Bell slipped by Fossil Ridge 62-61. The win was all the more spectacular given Bell's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 855th, while Fossil Ridge is ranked 250th).
Jaden T.ntumba was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 17 points. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for he. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Dyer, who scored four points along with six assists and three steals.
Bell's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Fossil Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
Bell will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Crowley at 3:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. As for Fossil Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Timber Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
