Game recap

Even though Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, S.D.) couldn't stop Wilmot (S.D.), it did manage to squeak out the 46-44 victory.

The score was knotted at 14 heading into the half. The Cyclones took the lead for good on a Tyson Jenkins touchdown run with under a minute left in the third quarter.

Clark/Willow Lake scored 12 points on special teams on the way to the victory.

Lane Hovde stood out for CWL in the win. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns.

Landon Hammer made a difference for the Wolves. The senior wingback caught three touchdowns. His performance brought his touchdown total to 12 on the year.

The Clark school got revenge for last year's 30-12 loss to Wilmot with the victory.

Clark/Willow Lake (5-1) will play a Eastern Coteau (9 Man) game against Great Plains Lutheran next week, while Wilmot (4-2) will take on Tiospa Zina also in a Eastern Coteau (9 Man) game.
