Basketball Game Preview: Wapanucka Indians vs. Soper Bears

Wapanucka and Soper are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Wapanucka Indians will square off against the Soper Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wapanucka is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Wapanucka came up short against Boswell on Thursday, falling 48-23.

Meanwhile, Soper didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Fort Towson on Monday, but they still walked away with a 42-37 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Wapanucka's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Soper, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Wapanucka took their win against Soper when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 49-27. Will Wapanucka repeat their success, or does Soper have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
