Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, Mich.) defeated LaSalle (St. Ignace, Mich.) 55-0 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by Tilmann in the first quarter, the Aggies were up 33-0 at the half.
Beal City grew its lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. BC scored two times in the third, including once on a Gross touchdown pass to
Ty Rollin.
With the win the Mt. Pleasant school extended its winning streak to 12 games. Beal City defeated Sacred Heart Academy 38-0 last week.
The Aggies went into the matchup giving up only 7.5 points per game. LaSalle's zero points were well below their season average of 21.5 per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for LaSalle, which notched a 20-14 victory over Johannesburg-Lewiston in its previous outing. The loss snapped LaSalle's two-game winning streak.
