Soccer Game Preview: Lebanon Trail vs. Independence

The Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers will face off against the Independence Knights at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lebanon Trail's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Friday, Lebanon Trail came up short against Heritage and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Trail Blazers have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Independence has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 14. Neither they nor Frisco could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Lebanon Trail now has a losing record at 4-5-3. With that draw, Independence's record moves to 2-7-3.

Everything went Lebanon Trail's way against Independence in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Lebanon Trail made off with a 3-0 win. Will Lebanon Trail repeat their success, or does Independence have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
