Basketball Recap: Stagg Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Stagg can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 32-31 to the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves. The Chargers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Stagg's defeat dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Thornton Fractional South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Stagg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thornton Fractional South, they are taking a road trip to challenge Marist at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
