Basketball Recap: Westwood Christian Piles Up the Points Against Reagan

Westwood Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They breezed past the Reagan Bison to the tune of 75-38. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westwood Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jason Martinez, who posted 14 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Bryan Fernandez was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Westwood Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Reagan, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Westwood Christian will challenge Belen Jesuit at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Reagan, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dade Christian at 7:30 p.m.
