Softball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Lampeter-Strasburg

There's no place like home for Lampeter-Strasburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Elizabethtown Bears by a score of 10-5 on Monday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Lampeter-Strasburg got a big performance out of Isabelle King, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Lily Kuhns, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Lampeter-Strasburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive matches.
