Basketball Recap: Devils Lake Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Devils Lake couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 64-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Prairie/Max on Saturday. The Firebirds have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Devils Lake's loss dropped their record down to 22-7. As for South Prairie/Max, their win bumped their record up to 26-2.

As of now, neither Devils Lake nor South Prairie/Max have any future games scheduled.
