Volleyball Recap: Walsh Jesuit Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Walsh Jesuit can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Firestone Falcons on Tuesday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Tala Paing had a dynamite game For Firestone., getting 38 assists and seven digs. That's the most assists Paing has posted since back in April.

Walsh Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Firestone, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Walsh Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Firestone, they will square off against St. Vincent-St. Mary at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
