Basketball Recap: Silverado's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Silverado waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They secured a 53-48 W over the Cajon Cowboys. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Hawks' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 725th, while the Cowboys are ranked 259th).

The win got Silverado back to even at 6-6. As for Cajon, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Silverado will be home for the holidays to greet Oak Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Hills knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Silverado likes a good challenge. As for Cajon, they will be playing at home against JW North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
