Silverton had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Woodburn on Friday. The Foxes blew past the Bulldogs 17-4. The Foxes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Silverton's third in a row) raised their record to 16-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Woodburn, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home.

Silverton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
