Recap: Renaissance Academy Knights vs. Alliance Christian Gryphons
The Renaissance Academy Knights won against the Alliance Christian Gryphons on Monday with 76 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Renaissance Academy blew past Alliance Christian 76-54. With that victory, Renaissance Academy brought their scoring average up to 50.5 points per game.
Renaissance Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ed Breazeale IV, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of DJ Savior, who scored 16 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Renaissance Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-9. As for Alliance Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Renaissance Academy will be playing at home against Church Farm at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Church Farm has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Alliance Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Linville Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Linville Hill's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Alliance Christian has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
