Volleyball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Staley Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Staley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-7.

Coincidentally, Northeast and Staley will both be playing Lincoln College Prep the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Blue Tigers at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 5:40 p.m.
