Softball Recap: Hobart Wins Going Away Against Hammond Bishop Noll

Hobart won the last time they faced Hammond Bishop Noll and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Brickies were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Warriors. The matchup marked the Brickies' most dominant win of the season so far.

Elizabeth Crespo looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Hobart let Kylie Bulatovich and Hallie Pendelton run wild. Bulatovich went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI, while Pendelton went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Pendelton a new career-high. Sierra Teel also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

The victory got Hobart back to even at 4-4. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Hobart will square off against Lowell at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, they will challenge Whiting at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
