It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Circleville ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Liberty Union Lions. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Circleville's record now sits at 6-10. As for Liberty Union, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Circleville will host Fairfield Union at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
