Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Space Coast). They never let the Cocoa Tigers get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Tony Allotta as he scored four goals for his team.
Space Coast used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Cocoa. Jaeden Williams played for 65 minutes having averaged 26.6 this season and Nolan Peura got 80 vs. an average of 27.2. Peura made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
The win made it two in a row for Space Coast and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Cocoa, they dropped their record down to 0-7-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
