Baseball Recap: Rusk Comes Up Short

Rusk fell victim to Orangefield and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2021.

This is the second loss in a row for Rusk and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Orangefield, their record now sits at 3-0-1.

Looking ahead, Rusk will be taking part in a tournament against Canton at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Orangefield, they will take on Port Neches-Groves in a tournament on Thursday.
