Basalt extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Will Tarallo. The Longhorns breezed past the Moffat County Bulldogs to the tune of 47-6 on Friday for which the team can thank Tarallo, who rushed for 182 yards and five scores while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. Basalt is undefeated when Tarallo posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

Basalt's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Moffat County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Basalt will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Aspen at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Moffat County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 11.7 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
